Can you introduce yourself?
"My name is Zosimos and I am a mixed media artist and photographer in NYC. I believe in creating and using your imagination to play. I experiment with light, shape, and abstract compositions in photography. I also work with paint, usually watercolor, sometimes acrylic."
What does your art process look like?
"Graphic Design is an important part of my art process. I love creating something — a sketch, a painting, a photograph — and translating it through different mediums. Then, when you have it in your computer, you can do whatever you want. I like printing things. There's something amazing about reproducing your own artwork, and holding a version of it that you don't need to be precious with."
How do you get inspired?
"I am most inspired by movement, action, shapes, facial expressions, and stories for sure. When the muse appears you have to follow because you don't know where it might lead. It might be something cool or not, but you went there and you explored. That's what mattes."
